We are a third generation family run business that opened its doors to service all aspects of the Pool & Spa industry in the Peterborough area. Starting out with 5 employees and working out of a single service vehicle, building concrete pools for 3 decades across Peterborough County, Kawartha Lakes, Northumberland, Durham, Haliburton and Hastings County.

First Location

We moved from our first location on Landsdowne Street and The Parkway to Queensway Court in the early 70’s with a 3,000 square foot showroom. Over the years we’ve grown to 40 employees with 12 service vehicles working 6 days a week during peak season. Since the late 80’s we only focus on putting in more affordable residential and commercial steel/vinyl outdoor and indoor swimming pools.

Expansion

In 2015 we expanded by opening a store location in Cobourg at 991 Division Street. Our growth has been steady over the years and to help our customers meet their expectations our 2 locations have been integrated so no matter what store they visit they can receive the best possible service.

Commercial Jobs

Over the years we have been fortunate enough to be chosen to do many commercial jobs. We have built pools at Hope Valley Day Camp in Lakefield, Bailey’s Bay Resort in Selwyn, Adelaide Place in Lindsay and many more. The City of Peterborough chose Sterling Pools to build the John Taylor Memorial Park wading pool that is still being used today.

We Are Recognized as a Top Renovation and Insurance Company

Beyond new installations we are also recognized as a top renovation and insurance company for pools and spas in Central Ontario. We have been called for renovations by companies such as Trent University, Otonabee Best Western, the Centennial pool in Cobourg and many more.

Even though we have listed commercial jobs, each year we install many Inground and Onground pools for the general public. We pride ourselves on making the pool installation experience a pleasant one for all our customers.
